    Responsibilities

    • Work in a fast-paced environment to develop image processing software adhering to the industry’s best practices in software coding, documentation and object-oriented designs
    • Participate in all phases of designing and developing software solutions for geospatial imaging, adhering to well-structured software engineering standards, design specifications and development schedules
    • Work in a SCRUM software development environment that promotes war room spirit, co-programming, and time-boxed user facing feature development
    • Work with product management to maintain and further enrich a powerful image processing software system with 30+ years of excellence

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, geospatial sciences or related fields
    • Track record of developing performance-efficient, high-quality software implementations
    • Excellent programming skills in C and C++ and experience with STL and boost
    • Solid background in object-oriented design and software engineering processes
    • Experience with advanced multithreaded programming
    • Self-motivated team player with a desire for continuous learning
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively within a worldwide development organization
    • Experience with high performance scientific computing a plus
    • Experience with OpenCL a plus
    • Experience in computer graphics and visualization a plus
    • Domain knowledge in image processing, photogrammetry or GIS a plus
    • Experience in web technologies a plus
