    Responsibilities

    Hexagon’s Geospatial marketing team is looking for a Marketing Events Intern in Norcross, GA. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented individual who can plan and execute events. This individual will support the development of event related marketing campaigns to drive new leads and help grow existing accounts. This individual should thrive in a fast-moving environment, working with multiple stakeholders from around the world. Job responsibilities include:

     

    • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, including event production through booth scheduling and shipping, sponsorships, speaking opportunities and abstracts, registrations, coordinating collateral, and promotional items
    • Pre and post-event communications, promotions and reporting
    • Assisting with segmenting and targeting key accounts for HxGN LIVE (our annual user conference), and creating a VIP experience
    • Creating surveys, compile reports, and analyze all aspects of events, including digital activity and customer experience
    • Creating compelling content to support event strategy, including digital media, email, and social media campaigns
    • Supporting additional initiatives defined by the Global Events Manager  

    Qualifications

    • Pursuring a Bachlor's Degree or recent college graduate in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field (preference given to individuals in the process of obtaining a Master’s degree)
    • Strong analytical and writing skills
    • Previous experience with events is beneficial
    • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft office, Adobe InDesign
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
    • Problem-solving attitude, detail oriented and organized
    • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
    • Preference given to individuals with experience working with an international company and/or proficient in a second language
