    Responsibilities

    Hexagon Geospatial is seeking an Account Based Marketing Manager.

     

    The ABM manager, global/strategic accounts, reports to the VP Global Marketing and is responsible for planning and executing a multitude of marketing programs – e.g. account intelligence gathering, demand creation, reputation support and sales enablement – in agreed-upon large accounts to support sales goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Translate sales objectives (both opportunity-based and relationship-based) into objectives and project plans for marketing support
    • Provide ongoing data and insights on strategic accounts and contacts within these accounts
    • Support ABM leadership in selecting the most appropriate candidate accounts for one-to-one (large account) marketing execution
    • Educate account executives on the potential role of marketing within global/strategic accounts
    • Conduct outreach to global/strategic accounts to identify and mitigate any conflicts
    • Understand which internal organizational marketing campaigns and assets to leverage for strategic account engagement planning
    • Orchestrate and lead ongoing account check-ins with account executives to ensure account goals, key contacts and account plans remain on track, and discuss upcoming account requirements and modifications
    • Internally promote account-specific engagement marketing plans, updating these plans based on account executive collaboration (and sometimes securing additional budget from sales to execute

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in business management or economics
    • 5 to 10 years of previous marketing experience, ideally in a named or strategic account model
    • Three to five years of relevant industry experience
    • Previous sales experience is a plus
    • Proven experience working successfully with sales
    • Ability to leverage data and insights in the development of marketing plans aligned to account strategies
    • Demand creation, both sales-led and marketing-led
    • Leadership and negotiation skills
    • Goal and task prioritization
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Problem solving
    • Social media execution (appropriate, effective use of common social media sites and technologies)
