    Responsibilities

    Hexagon Geospatial is looking for motivated individuals to work closely with developers on all aspects of practical software development, including green-field development, maintenance, automated testing, and software deployment. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work with a development team on a range of technologies, improving and maintaining software with a large world-wide user-base. You will experience fast-paced software development in a product-focused, customer oriented Agile environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Work with team leads and engineers to ensure product development occurs on-scope and on-time
    • Take proactive, ownership-oriented approach to assigned tasks
    • Maintain robust development standards, including code test coverage
    • Identify collaborate with development team to address defects

    Qualifications

    • Intermediate level programming skills (C++/JAVA) required
    • Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical thinking skills required
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Domain knowledge and experience in image processing and/or Remote Sensing and GIS a plus
    • Knowledge and experience in photogrammetry a plus
    • Experience using scripting tools such as Python a plus
